肉雞蛋內注射和翅膀穿刺雞痘活毒疫苗之安全性及保護力

Safety and Protectivity of Inovojection or Wingweb Stabbing Fowl Pox Vaccine in Commercial Broilers

取市售15種雞痘疫苗分別以卵內注射免疫─組,每組10隻之18日齡肉雞胚或以翼膜穿刺傳統方式接種一組每組10隻10日齡肉雞比較其在孵化率和育成率方面之安全性及耐受新近分離雞痘病毒攻擊之免疫保護效力,以找尋最佳之肉雞臨床雞痘疫苗免疫的疫苗種類,兼以探究卵內注射免疫雞痘疫苗之可行性,結果發現四種(K2, 12, 13及L)雞痘疫苗之翼膜穿刺和一種(12)雞痘疫苗卵內注射雞痘疫苗的安全性和免疫保護力頗佳。雞痘疫苗的卵內注射免疫由於疫苗病毒對雞胚的毒性比10日齡小雞為高,其安全性較翼膜穿刺為低,且其免疫保護力也較翼膜穿刺略差。市售一種雞痘活毒疫苗頗有可能進一步再加以馴化減毒成良好的卵注射疫苗。

Each of 15 group, 10 commercial broilers or embryos per group, in 2 trials was individually vaccinated with a commercial fowl pox vaccine at 10-day-old or 18-day-embryos by wingweb stabbing or in ovo vaccination respectively for comparison of the safety in terms of hatchbility and survival rate and protectivity against the recently local pox viruses challenge of the pox vaccines in 2 trials as a reference for choosing the best pox vaccine used in field as well as to evaluate the applicability of the in ovo vaccination of the pox vaccine for commercial broilers. A nonimmunized but challenged group was also included in each trial. Four (K2, 12, 13 and L) and one (12) pox vaccines by wingweb stabbing and in ovo vaccination respectively were found with good safety and protectivity. The pox vaccine virus was found more virulent to commercial broiler embryos than broilers. Therefore the in ovo vaccination of pox vaccine provides less safe but also less immunoprotective than wingweb stabbing vaccination. One (12) pox vaccine has some good potential to be developed as in ovo vaccine.
