存在環境汙染混合雙占市場之企業社會責任探討

Corporate Social Responsibility in a Mixed Duopoly with Environmental Pollution

摘要


本研究利用一個具有環境外部性的混合雙占模型,探討企業社會責任對社會福利分配的影響。結果發現:在只有公營廠商關心消費者導向的企業社會責任下,消費者剩餘增加,廠商總利潤減少,汙染總量增加,社會福利上升。在民營家廠商關心消費者導向的企業社會責任下,消費者剩餘增加,廠商總利潤減少,汙染總量增加;對社會福利的影響方向不確定,當產品的邊際汙染量較低時,廠商對消費者導向之企業社會責任的關注,將使得社會福利上升。在公民營廠商皆關心消費者導向的企業社會責任下,消費者剩餘必然增加,汙染總量增加;對民營廠商利潤與社會福利的影響方向不確定,當產品的邊際汙染量較低時,公民營廠商對消費者導向之企業社會責任的關注,將使得社會福利上升,此時,出現廠商、消費者以及社會三贏的情況(win-win-win)。

This paper explores the optimal Corporate Social Responsibility of the public and private firms in mixed duopoly with environmental damage. If only the pubic firm cares about the CSR, the social welfare will be higher than the case without CSR. If only the private firm or both of the public and private firm care about the CSR, the social welfare will be higher the case without CSR when the marginal pollution is relative low. In above three scenarios, consumers are always the winner with CSR.
