Assistive Technology Prescription System: Applying in Wheel Chair Fitting Service

摘要


本研究以行動類科技器具中之輪椅為例,建置輔助科技處方決策支援系統,用以解決現有輔具服務的瓶頸。本系統將建構一套標準的流程以及決策規則,協助評估者評估,並將輔具服務一路從評估開始,延伸到後續的追蹤及衛教服務。該系統採用ASP.NET來開發,並使用雛形開發法和物件導向設計來完成此系統。系統評估方法有二,第一為系統導入前後,服務作業流程比較;第二則是透過對資深治療師展示系統後,訪談治療師的看法。本系統完成後,共具備四個主要功能,包含個案資料建檔及修改功能,系統登入功能,評估輔助系統以及查詢追蹤系統,主要用於協助評估者開立正確的輪椅處方,並建置一完整的服務輸送流程。該系統之效益對評估者而言,可以更加正確的開立處方;對付費者而言,可監督整個服務品質;對輪椅生產者而言,則可以獲得更多設計的資訊;對服務提供者而言則可增進服務效率。未來則可朝向無線化發展,並建置大量資料庫以確保判定規則的有效性。

Objectives: Using wheelchair as an example, the study aims to develop an Assistive Technology Prescription Auxiliary System (AtPAS) to establish a standardized procedure for prescription and service delivery of assistive technology. AtPAS is consisted of a thorough assessment procedure from evaluators diagnosis, wheelchair suggestion, follow-up procedure and customer education. Methods: Using the ASP.NET as the development tool, AtPAS was developed by following the prototype development method. The decision rules were obtained by collecting interview information from two senior therapists. Results: The following four functions will be accomplished by AtPAS. These are (1) data entry and edition, (2) system log-in, (3) decision support of assistive technology evaluation, and (4) tracking system. Conclusions: AtPAS provides benefits for evaluators, payers, manufacturers, and service providers. The evaluators are able to provide a more precise prescription. The payers are able to monitor the quality of evaluation. The manufacturers are able to get new ideas for new products. The service providers are able to enhance the evaluation efficiency. In the future, this system may perform service by wireless communication.
