Some researchers have even applied this issue to health care. Even though it is an industry with high risks, for it involves patients and injuries, getting patient safety culture moving has become a trend. It is also found that only by detecting bad issues for further design, evaluation and improvement, can the goal of patient safety be reached. Patient safety culture has a comprehensive meaning. For the most part, it is related to medical malpractice. Malpractice may not only affect patients' physical and psychological health but also impact the quality of healthcare. From a literature review, this study develops practical applications for ”patient safety culture” to clinical nursing, giving an opportunity to help nursing professionals be aware of patient safety, hence reducing the high incidence of medical malpractice.
