This article describes a humanistic nursing care experience to a patient and his family under going organ donation. The patient had donated organs including cornea, bone, liver, kidney, and heart to benefit those who were in need. Nursing care were provided from September 9^(th) to 10^(th), 2008. Data were collected by reviewing medical records, interviewing with the family, and providing direct care based on the principles of humanistic nursing theory. The nursing actions included informing family the process of organ donation and helping them to recognize the change of body appearance after donation. Also, we provided tender loving care to the body in order to maintain the patient's dignity. This case study showed that humanistic nursing care did benefit patient and his family.
