正念減壓治療法於精神病人之應用

The Application of Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction on Patients with Mental Illness

摘要


正念減壓治療法為現今興起能緩解壓力的一種治療方式,可降低病人的身體負擔,並促進心理及精神層面的健康。本文說明正念減壓治療法的內容及運用於精神疾患之作法及成效。本文首先呈現正念減壓治療法的內容、原則以及執行方式;其次說明正念減壓治療法應用於:(1)思覺失調症;(2)憂鬱症;(3)失智症;(4)廣泛性焦慮症;(5)社交恐懼症及(6)創傷後壓力症等精神病人之成效。總結正念減壓治療法在精神病人面對壓力、憂鬱與焦慮症狀時,能調適病人的情緒。對精神病人而言,是一種方便執行的自我調適方法。對精神科護理人員而言,可適當的使用正念減壓治療法來協助病人改善症狀的困擾。

Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) is an emerging method of stress relief that can reduce the physical burden of mental illness and promote mental health. This paper verifies the content of an MBSR program and the practice and effectiveness of applying it to mental disorders. This paper first presents the principles and implementation of the program, and then explains the effects of MBSR as applied to: (1) schizophrenic disorders, (2) depressive disorders, (3) dementia disorders, (4) generalized anxiety disorders, (5) social anxiety disorders and, (6) traumatic stress disorders. Finally, MBSR is summarized as an easy-to-apply self-adjustment method for patients with mental illness that can provide a means by which they can express their emotions when faced with the symptoms of stress, depression, and anxiety caused by their illnesses. In conclusion, the MBSR program helps mentally ill patients express their emotions when they face stress, depression, and anxiety. Mindfulness-based stress reduction is an easy-to-apply self-adjustment method for patients with mental illness. For psychiatric nurses, MBSR program can be appropriately used on patients with mental illness to improve their symptoms and distress.
