背景:COVID-19造成全球大流行與高死亡率,造成血液透析病人焦慮、憂鬱,甚至影響生活品質。目的:探討血液透析病人在COVID-19疫情下焦慮、憂鬱、生活品質其相關性。方法:採用橫斷式研究設計,於2020年7月至8月疫情期間收案200位南部某醫學中心血液透析病人。結果:血液透析病人12.5%有輕至重度焦慮狀態;10.5%有輕至重度憂鬱狀態,生活品質屬於中等程度。焦慮與憂鬱有顯著正相關(r=.67, p=.00);焦慮與生活品質有顯著負相關(r=-.38, p=.00);憂鬱與生活品質有顯著負相關(r=-.43, p=.00)。結論:約10%病人有焦慮及憂鬱之情緒,建議適時的評估及諮商轉介,可及早減少新興傳染病流行的心理衝擊及提升生活品質。
Background: The COVID-19 virus has caused a global pandemic with high mortality, and for hemodialysis patients, creates even further emotional and quality of life impact. Objectives: Explore the anxiety, depression, and quality of life and their correlations of hemodialysis patients under the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: This cross-sectional and correlative study recruited 200 hemodialysis patients from July to August 2020 from a medical center in southern Taiwan. Results: 12.5% of dialysis patients had mild to severe anxiety, while 10.5% had mild to severe depressed state and the quality of life was at a moderate level. Anxiety and depression had significant positive correlation (r= .67, p= .00). Anxiety had significant negative correlation with quality of life (r=- .38, p= .00); depression and the quality of life had significant negative correlation (r=- .43, p= .00). Conclusion: About 10% of dialysis patients had anxiety and depression during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is recommended that timely emotional assessment, consultation and referral could reduce the psychological impact of emerging infectious diseases and improve the quality of life of dialysis patients.
