摘要

身體約束是臨床上經常用來維護患者安全及預防意外事件的方法，但事實上其背後卻隱藏了極大之危機，這是值得醫護人員重視之議題。本文即以南部某區域教學醫院為例，運用台灣醫療品質指標計劃(TQIP)中「身體約束的使用」其定義、資料收集及評估方式對該院身體約束情形做一系統性之了解，以期找出問題及擬定解決方案，達到改善品質之目標。

Physical restraint is a method to protect the patient's safety and prevent the accident of hospitalization popullary. In general, the crisis of physical restraint is frequently hided by staffs, but this issue is very important to medical care. This article will utilize the Taiwan Quality Inportant Project's (TQIP) definition, data collection and assessment skill of 「physical restraint use」 to review the 「physical restraint use」 in the regional teaching hospital in southern Taiwan. The goals of this analysis are to try finding out the questions and methods to improve the quality of patient care.
