摘要

本文主要在描述我國日趨嚴重的女性乳癌問題，從現階段衛生政策的內容及宣導分析，顯示仍有缺失之處。本文嘗試從各種流行病學的實證研究結果（資料取自1980年後Medline期刊有關breast cancer及etiology的文獻），整理出有關乳癌的可能原因，及近十年來歐、美各國在乳癌篩檢防治措施中所採行的方法，並試圖從研究資料的結果看我國的衛生政策，並提出我國乳癌篩檢策略中，除了修正宣導自我檢查之重點外，也納入三十歲以上女性每三年一次免費乳房攝影或乳房超音波的可行性，並從成本效益的觀點評估此策略的價值。

The purpose of this paper focused on the trend of screening policies for women breast cancer. According to study of the current breast cancer detecting policies in Taiwan, there are still some limitations concerning breast cancer screening This paper tried to address the related etiology of breast cancer, and tried to elaborate breast cancer screening policies of western countries on account of some evidence-based studies from Medline Journal during 1980~2000. From the results of above data, we suggested some screening policies for our country such as modifying breast-self examination method and providing women above 30 years old free breast mammogram and echogram every three years. Discussions were also made on the cost-effective value of the application of western breast cancer screening policies in Taiwan.
