摘要

除了職能治療、物理治療、藥物治療外，音樂治療這個新興次專業也可對腦部機制病變患者在復健的療程中有所貢獻。如果臨床人員能夠有技巧地將治療手法給融入音樂活動中，讓病人不再覺得復健是一個痛苦的過程，則不但可以增加病人對療程的參與度與配合度，也可在兼任治療品質的前題下，為醫療環境增添人文氣息。
本文除從神經心理學、體內分泌物質的角度來看腦傷與音樂治療外，並針對腦部機制病變患者在復健過程中常出現的症狀，如：粗動作協調差、精細動作差、語言障礙、情緒問題、注意力缺失、空間概念差等，提出過去研究與作者臨床經驗中較有效的音樂治療活動與治療原理，以供醫療同業作參考，期待能讓腦部機制病變患者的臨床醫護人員，在介入時能多一項參考。本文為針對音樂治療用於改善腦傷復健病人常見症狀的歸納式醫療綜論。

In addition to occupational therapy, physical therapy and chemotherapy, musical therapy-a burgeoning subdivision of medicine-contributes to the rehabilitation of patients with brain damage. By ”musical therapy”, it means the process whereby patients' physiological, psychological and emotional problems are skillfully restored, maintained and improved through music. A medical professional, who skillfully incorporates therapeutic means in musical sessions to persuade patients that rehabilitation is not a painful process, not only makes the patients more willing to receive the therapy and more obedient to the therapists, but also enables the therapy to be performed more humanly without deteriorating the quality of the therapy. This research had two objectives. Firstly, study the effect of musical therapy on brain damage, from the viewpoints of neuropsychology and endocrinology. Secondly, put forth the musical activities proved by previous research, and as indicated by this researcher's clinical work, to have good therapeutic effects, and their therapeutic principles, regarding the symptoms frequently found in patients with brain damage during the patients' rehabilitation process, such as poor gross motor coordination, poor fine motor coordination, linguistic disorders, emotional problems, attention deficits and poor spatial conception, etc., so that the musical activities and their underlying principles will be available to fellow medical professionals, especially for treating patients with brain damage. Last but not least, this research is the first of its kind to summarize the effects of musical therapy on the symptoms commonly found in patients with brain damage.
