原住民學童對性侵害之防治知識、態度、自我保護行為及其相關性探討

Sexual Assault Prevention Knowledge, Attitudes and Self-protective Behaviors among Aboriginal School-Age Children

摘要


本研究目的在探討原住民學童對性侵害之防治知識、態度、自我保護行為,及其相關影響因素。本文採立意取樣方式,以東部地區6所國民小學的五、六年級原住民學童為研究對象,以自行設計的結構式問卷收集資料,共收集194份有效問卷。所得資料經統計分析後,結果顯示:(1)研究對象中曾被撫摸過身體部位者佔44.3%,被迫看過私處者佔19.6%,曾被迫性交者佔16%;(2)性侵害防治知識平均答對率為69.3%,以「身體隱私處」的知識最佳,「性侵害危機處理」、「性侵害迷思」的認知較差;(3)多數學童對性侵害防治態度平均總得分64.34±8.36分,持較正向的態度;(4)多數學童平均會採取兩項自我保護行為;求助資源的認知有限,平均每人只知道一個求助機構或電話;(5)學童自我保護行為與性侵害防治知識及態度呈正相關(p﹤.01);(6)性侵害防治知識、學校教導、與性侵害防治態度為自我保護行為的重要變項,其解釋自我保護行為變異量的16%。研究結果可提供兒童健康促進之醫護人員與教育人員,瞭解原住民兒童性侵害防治知識、態度、與自我保護行為的現況,及其影響因素,以供後續規劃原住民學童性侵害防治政策及教學方案之參考。

The purpose of this study was to investigate the sexual assault prevention knowledge, attitudes, and self-protective behaviors, and related factors among aboriginal school-age children. Subjects were selected by purposive sampling from the fifth and sixth grade students of six elementary schools in eastern Taiwan. The questionnaire was designed by the researcher and 194 questionnaires were thus completed. The results of this study indicated that: (1)44.3% of subjects had been assaulted by touching body, 19.6% forced to watch sex organs of other persons, and 16% forced to have sexual intercourse; (2)69.3% of aboriginal school-age children had correct responses to sexual assault prevention knowledge. Subjects scored high on “body privacy” item, but scored low on “sexual assault crisis management” and “myths of sexual assault”; (3)majority of the subjects held positive attitude toward sexual assault prevention, having a mean score at 65.34±8.36; (4) subjects' self-protective behaviors were not adequate, and knowledge for help resources was limited; (5) self-protective behaviors were positively correlated with sexual assault prevention knowledge and attitude (p﹤.01); (6) sexual assault prevention knowledge, attitudes, and receiving sexual assault prevention teaching at school were major predictors of self-protective behaviors, explaining 16% of variance in the self-protective behaviors. Results of the study may provide community nurses and educators with important information about sexual assault prevention knowledge, attitudes and self-protective behaviors among aboriginal school-age children. This information is essential for further development of sexual assault prevention teaching programs and policy for aboriginal school-age children.
