摘要

加護病房的醫療成效經常代表著該醫院的醫療能力，而加護病房的非計劃性重返事件，被視為是一項重要的品質指標，不僅代表著該加護病房的醫護水準，也是醫療資源分配的憑據之一。本文針對進住與轉出加護病房的標準、非計劃性重返的發生率及其原因，做一概略性介紹，以提供相關行政單位與醫護同仁參考。(慈濟護理雜誌, 2004; 3:2, 26-30.)

The outcome of medical treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU) is a representative medical capability for hospital. Unscheduled readmission is regarded as an important indicator of quality in ICU. The unscheduled readmission rate does not only refer to medical quality but also refers to medical resources.
