從中西文化特質的差異看現行的護理教育

Examining Present Nursing Education from the Characteristics Difference of Chinese-Western Culture

摘要


護理教育與社會變遷、科技發展息息相關,如何讓護理教育符合社會需求是當今主要議題。護理教育是培育職場護理人員的唯一來源。護理人員不僅要擁有良好的專業知識及技能,更重要的是應具備有人文的素養,透過專業通識化的教育,提升高品質的照護。本文的目的在從中西文化特質之差異,探討人文教育在護理教育之重要性。

Nursing education is closely linked with social vicissitude and technical developments. How nursing education can meet social demand is a key issue nowadays. Nursing education is the only source of formal education which cultivating future nursing staff. The nursing staff not only must have the professional knowledge and skill, but also have to have humanistic thinking instilled in the daily work caring the patients. Through formulating and implementing humanistic education into nursing education, the quality of nursing care will be thus improved. The aim of this paper is to explore the importance of incorporating humanism into nursing education.
