摘要

本專案的目的是依兒童發展特性，擬定兒科病童跌倒防護措施管理規定及標準作業流程、制定住院病童預防跌倒護理指導單張，並針對單位工作同仁，進行兒科住院病童預防跌倒在職教育。專案執行結果發現，2003年7月至2004年5月本病房跌倒發生件數共15件，跌倒發生率爲0.16%，施行改善方案後於2004年6月至2005年4月跌倒發生件數共8件，跌倒發生率爲0.09%，預防跌倒成效有明顯的改善。針對此方案所運用的兒科住院病患預防跌管理規定及作業標準流程、預防跌倒護理指導單張可提供兒科單位做爲參考。

The aim of this project was to create a method and standard operation flow chart for protecting patients against falling accidents in a pediatric ward. We established nursing guidelines for dealing with falls among inpatient children and arranged a related continuing education program for nursing staff. The results showed that there were 15 unexpected falls in our ward between July 2003 and May 2004 with an incidence of 0.16%. After instituting the action plan, there was pronounced improvement, with only 8 falls occurring during June 2004 and April 2005, an incidence of 0.09%. The results are presented to share the experience with nursing guidelines and standards to prevent falling accidents among pediatric inpatients.
