摘要

吸菸是世界死因中的重要危險因素，也爲公共健康之最大威脅。此行爲會受到個人、家庭和社會因素的影響。本研究藉由中部某縣家戶資料，旨在探討20~50歲居民的個人屬性、家庭及社區與吸菸行爲之相關性。以都市、鄉村及山地不同型態爲選樣區域，自2007年12月至2009年3月間家庭訪視10,037位20~50歲居民之資料。運用卡方檢定及階層邏輯斯迴歸法分析吸菸行爲之相關因素與模式預測。研究結果發現男性、年紀大、教育程度低、原住民身份、有經濟能力、有憂鬱情緒、戶長、家中有學齡（前）期人口、家中有吸菸人口及居住山地區會影響吸菸行爲。吸菸所造成的危害是可預防之公共衛生危險因素，當戒菸相關規劃或教育介入、健康促進活動時，可參酌上述之重要因素。

Smoking is an important risk factor in the cause of death worldwide and an immense threat to public health. Such behavior is susceptible to the influence of individual, family and social factors. This study was aimed to study the relationship between smoking behavior and personal attributes, family and community in residents between the ages of 20 to 50. With urban, rural and mountain area as sample region, data of 10,037 residents between the ages of 20-50 were retrieved through household visit from December 2007 to March 2009. Chi-square test and stratum logistic regression were used to explore the associated factors of smoking and to predict smoking behavior in the proposed models. The results indicated that individuals who were male, senior, with low education, aboriginal status, financially capable, depressive, head of the household, had school or preschool children, had other smoking family members, and lived in mountain areas were prone to smoking. The detrimental effect of smoking is an avoidable public health risk factor. The influencing factors of smoking from the study can be considered when planning smoke cessation programs, education intervention or health promotions.
