運用倉儲管理手法提升外科病房醫療衛材管理正確性
Using Warehousing Management Technique to Improve Surgical Ward Material Management Accuracy
摘要
提供安全無疑的醫療衛材是醫院之責任及義務，醫護管理者如何在控制成本及供應品質雙重要求上取得平衡責無旁貸。本專案以南部某教學醫院外科病房為對象，發現病房衛材設定項目及每月成本與同質性相關病房高出6%，進一步稽核發現病房醫療衛材管理正確率僅64.7%，經原因分析為醫療衛材存放設備不當、存放標示不清楚、缺乏完整資訊化作業程式、取用醫療衛材認知不足、欠缺教育訓練規劃，故進行專案改善，執行措施包括規劃醫療衛材存放設備、開發簡易型標示、建構設定基準資訊化程式及舉辦在職教育訓練，結果病房醫療衛材管理正確率由64.7%提升至86.7%，執行結果已達專案目的，不僅保障醫療衛材使用的安全性，更近一步確保照護品質。（志為護理，2012；11：3，77－86）

Providing safe medical materials is the responsibility and the obligation of the hospital, a medical care manager shares the same obligation to attain balance regarding the double requirements for cost control and supply quality. The project had selected a surgical ward of a university hospital located in Southern Taiwan as research subject. It was discovered that the planned items of medical materials in the wards and their monthly cost were 6% higher than other related wards of similar nature. A further audit revealed that the accuracy of medical material management in the wards was only 64.7%. Cause analysis indicated that the reasons for the low accuracy included inappropriate storage of materials, unclear storage labels, lack of complete IT programme, insufficient knowledge in taking and using materials and lack of educational training plans. The project was implemented to improve the situation and several measures were executed, including planning medical material storage facility, developing simple labels, constructing a standard IT programme, and arranging in-service educational trainings. Consequently, the material management accuracy in the wards increased from 64.7% to 86.7%. The executed results complied with the project aims, ensured the safety of medical material utilization and furthermore guaranteed the quality of nursing care.
