Nursing Experience of an Aboriginal Woman in Emergency Room Suffering from Domestic Violence

摘要

本文描述一位原住民女性反覆遭受家庭暴力至急診就醫之照護經驗，照護期間透過觀察、訪談、直接照護、身體評估、後續訪視等方法收集資料，以生理、心理、社會 、靈性層面為架構進行整體性評估，發現有急性疼痛、無效性因應能力及失眠之問題 。筆者透過主動關懷、同理及鼓勵個案訴說內心感受，教導個案轉移注意力緩解疼痛 ，提供家庭暴力支持團體之資訊，指導暴力事件時自我保護的方法及協助入眠等方式後辦理出院，後續訪視個案時，能說出預防及因應暴力狀況之自我保護技巧，並表示失眠問題已改善。期盼此照護經驗能提供急診護理人員往後照護遭受家庭暴力病患之參考。

This article describes the emergency care provided for an aboriginal woman admitted to an emergency clinic because of repeatedly suffering from domestic violence. The authors collected all information through observation, interviews, direct care, physical assessment, and follow-up visits. Based on the overall assessment from the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects, the author found that the patient had acute pain, ineffective coping, and insomnia. Through active care, empathy, and encouragement by the author, the patient shared her inner feelings; by learning ways to divert attention, the patient was relieved from her pain. Additionally, the author provided information on domestic violence support groups, guided self-protection methods for violent incidents, and assisted with improving sleep. The patient was discharged for the emergency room. During follow-up visits, the patient could state self-protection techniques for prevention and response to violence and mentioned that her insomnia had improved. It is hoped that this experience will provide emergency caregivers with a reference when caring for patients suffering from domestic violence in the future.
