術後腓神經病變運用針灸緩解垂足症病例報告

「垂足」是因為腳背屈肌群無力導致，可能原因為神經卡壓、外傷、腔室症候群、醫源性損傷、或是神經病變。神經卡壓在臀部到足踝神經路徑都有可能發生，最常見卡壓位於腓骨頭附近。另外醫源性損傷常見原因為手術過程中長時間在麻醉狀態固定姿勢，或是長期臥床、長時間戴護具。此次案例為27歲女性，經過13小時正顎手術後隔天下床發現垂足，雙側足踝背屈無力及足趾伸趾動作無力，經過1個月針灸治療後明顯改善。

Foot drop refers to an inability to lift the forefoot due to weakness of the dorsiflexors. It would be caused by nerve entrapment, trauma, compartment syndrome, iatrogenic injury, or neuropathy. Iatrogenic injury is common seen when patient maintain a fixed posture for long time during operation. This case is about an 27-year-old woman with drop foot after an long operation lasting 13 hours. After acupuncture treatment for one month, the severity of weakness of the dorsiflexors and numbness significantly alleviated.
