台灣東海岸港灣的長週期波動觀測研究

A Study on Long Period Oscillations in the Harbors along Taiwan East Coast

摘要


臺灣東海岸的港灣每每於異常氣象時期港內發生長週期振盪,爲了瞭解長週期波動成分的來源,本研究分別於花蓮港、鹽寮、金樽及大武漁港佈放壓力式波高計,並改變傳統波浪觀測方式,進行長時間的連續取樣觀測水位變動資料,分析結果發現各個觀測點不論是平時或者是颱風時期都存在有100秒以上的長週期波動成分,但在颱風來襲時長週期部分的能量會明顯增加;也顯示臺灣東海岸港灣的長週期波動成分並不一定與港灣的自然頻率有關。改變港內的布置以調整自然頻率並不能解決港灣穩靜度的問題,未來仍應著重於如何削減港內的長週期波動能量的研究。

Long period oscillations inside the harbor are always the major problems for the ports along Taiwan east coast. In order to investigate the resource of the oscillations, a series of field obasevations of water elevation at Hualien Port, and Yen-Liao, Gin-Jun, and Da-Wu fishery ports along Taiwan east-south coast have been conducted with long sampling time. The results show that wave motions with period longer than 100 seconds were found everywhere within that 130 km coastline in ordinary time and in typhoon periods. The resource of long period oscillations inside a harbor along Taiwan east coast are not definitely related to the natural frequencies of that harbor. Changing the harbor layout to shift the natural frequencies is not the solution of the problem, the future studies should focus on searching the method to deduct the long period wave energy inside the harbor.
