七股潟湖沙洲地形變遷之研究

The Morphological Study on Cigu Lagoon

摘要


潟湖之形成係河流從上游帶著泥沙輸送至河口,泥沙淤積於河口再受浪流作用,形成濱外沙洲,與陸地間圍成潟湖(Kjerfve,1994)。潟湖有著獨樹一格之生態系統,亦為蚵農重要之牡蠣養殖場,其外海沙洲在颱風暴潮期間肩負著防護後方水域與陸域之重責大任。然受極端海象條件影響潟湖沙洲常遭受破壞,在臺灣,七股潟湖沙洲持續向陸後縮及寬度持續變窄,甚至被浪潮衝破形成潮口,由歷年來衛星岸線資料顯示,目前七股潟湖沙洲面臨海側沙洲高程降低且逐漸內移,導致潟湖淤淺且面積縮小。本研究於2011年颱風季前後各量測一次潟湖沙洲之陸域地形,藉此研究沙丘之高程不足時易遭受颱風暴潮衝擊產生越洗,甚至形成新潮口(例如該年度南瑪都颱風過境導致北邊青山港沙洲被沖破),以及沙洲保育對策之探討。

Normally a lagoon barrier is formation of sand deposit down drifted throughout the river mouth. This sedimentation which gathered by wave and longshore current interaction formed a sand barrier with lagoon habitat inside. Within this isolated area an unique ecosystem which is suitable for oyster farming. Furthermore, the sand barrier also performs in the role of coastal protection. Unfortunately, these benefits are highly effect by extreme typhoon event. In Taiwan, the coastal topography of Cigu lagoon has constantly retreated, narrowed and split apart into pieces of inlet gaps. According to recent satellite footage observing, the sand barrier not only retreat but decrease in elevation and shape; the inner lagoon area has also been shallowed and decreased. Therefore, this study based on the typhoon topography measurement in the year of 2011 are checking wash-over area, new inlet (ex: During Typhoon Nan-Ma-Dol, the north border of Ching-Shan-Kung sand barrier was completely wash over); and further, it's looking for the countermeasure more efficient sand barrier protection.
