Nausea and Vomiting among Children Druing Chemotherapy: Nursing Assessment and Intervention

Survival rates of children with cancer have been improved due to aggressive treatment. Unfortunately, it was accompanied by two major side effects which were nausea and vomiting. This article focuses on the clarifications of definition, cause, and pattern on nursing assessment and intervention of nausea and vomiting. It is a main part to reduce children's discomfortable symptoms and to improve their quality of life by developing nurses' knowledge and clinical skill on symptom management.
