The purpose of this study was to explore the main effect and interaction effects of paternalistic leadership's 3 styles, benevolent, authoritarian and morale, on athlete's group satisfaction. This study sampled 291 high school athletes with mean age of 16.16 (SD=+1.52) and administered paternalistic leadership scale and perception of satisfaction in sport. For the main effect, it was found benevolent and morale had positive effect on group satisfaction but authoritarian had negative effect. For the interaction effects among the 3 elements, benevolent-morale and benevolent-authoritarian-morale had positive interaction effects on group satisfaction but authoritarian-morale had negative interaction effects. These findings were similar to these acquired with a simple in business. Base on these findings, we provided some suggestions for the further research.
