In recent years, International Water-Ski & Wakeboard Federation has made efforts on promoting cable wakeboard to be included in the 2020 summer Olympics. The first cable park will be built in 2013, which is an important opportunity for the growth of water-ski in Taiwan. Unlike other sport items dominated by tall and strong figures, wakeboarding focuses more on flexibility as well as coordination, and it is more suitable for Taiwanese to practice. From this point of view, few relevant research and articles have been published in Taiwan so far. This study aims to use the literature review and SWOT analysis on the cable Wakeboard, and expects to raise academic concerns. Furthermore, the related authorities can give fresh impetus to this sport with more resources.
