The purpose of this study is to investigate current global situation of digital classics archive of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and thereby make some proposals for improvement. Study methods include holding panel discussions of experts from several disciplines, literature reviews, interviews and joining relative seminars. The results show that existent digital resources of TCM are scattered all over the world, most of them not offering both images and full-texts and seldom building metadata, their searching tools not helpful or user friendly, and information offered by many TCM websites being unverified or doubtful. According to these results, this study suggests some practical proposals to improve people's comprehension and competitiveness and the role played by the TCM community in Taiwan.
