民國文學的史觀建構

Dual Perspectives on the Literary History of the Republican China

摘要

民國文學的建構對國內學界而言是一個新的嘗試。臺灣學界重新探討民國文學可能要先從我們現在的社會出發。由於長期在中國歷史教育的薰陶下，往往無法跟臺灣歷史銜接起來。在臺灣建構民國文學的歷史解釋，應該從雙元史觀開始。也就是殖民史與民國史如何銜接起來，畢竟1945年之前，中華民國沒有臺灣；1949年之後，臺灣沒有中國大陸。我們必須要保持雙重視野的態度，重新建構歷史記憶。本文稱之為雙元史觀。由於我們長期生活在資本主義社會裡，對於左派作家的評價往往帶有貶抑的態度，因此在建構過程中，也應該兼顧到右翼史觀與左翼史觀。如果在兩種不同的歷史脈絡、不同的歷史解釋，可以找到平衡點，則民國文學的建構才有可能具體實踐。

There are discrepancies in the interpretation on the literary history between students in Taiwan and PRC. For the scholars in Taiwan, the related study concerning Republican literary history has been perhaps much belated. However, it is about time for them to start their task to reconstruct historical memories about the development of modern literature in the Republican period (1919-1949). This short paper provides three considerations in the construction of Republican literary history: 1. setting up a possible dialogue between the rightist and leftist interpretation, 2. placing more emphasis on the modernization and democratization of postwar Taiwan, 3. trying to connect the continuity and its legacy of Chinese May Fourth Movement with literary development in Taiwan.
