利用膝關節攝影支架照射顴骨弓之技術

An Alternative Method for Radiographing Zygomatic Arches by Merchant Support

摘要


一般進行顴骨弓攝影,可採平躺及站立兩種方式攝影,站立方法因為病患姿勢穩固性較差,較少使用,一般以平躺方式為主。方法是讓病患平躺,肩膀墊高,下巴抬高,X光球管(X-ray tube)打角度來攝影,這種照射方式對於病患而言是一種不舒服的姿勢,另一方面對放射師而言,照射角度的調整也是一項技術考驗,現在利用原有的膝關節攝影支架來輔助攝影,讓病患可以用舒服且穩固的姿勢來接受檢查,除此外,藉助支架的使用來穩定影像品質,減少病患不必要的暴露。此次研究共取100例病患,50例病患採原攝影方式,另外50例病患利用膝關節攝影支架照射顴骨弓,分別討論影像品質,影像左右對稱度由97.5%提昇至99.6%。影像角度正確性由82%提昇至100%。由兩組數據分析得知,使用支架輔助照射之影像,品質超越以往,可大大提升影像品質,穩定影像品質,提高診斷正確性。

Purpose: Radiographing zygomatic arches includes supine and standing positions. Standing position is not suitable for an ill patient, so there is some restriction for general usage. The supine position is popularly applied. The procedures include lying down, underlay the shoulder, extend the neck in fully position, and tilt the X-ray tube to a routine angle against the neck. However, this method is uncomfortable to the patient. On the other hand, adjusting the angle is a tough mission to technologists. Using Merchant support to assist for radiography, enable patients to be examined under a more comfortable firming posture. In addition, the auxiliary support is useful for stabilizing image quality, reduce unnecessary repeated exposures. This research includes 100 patients, 50 patients adopt the conventional method, and the other 50 patients utilize the alternative method by using Merchant support of knee joint. The image quality using both methods are discussed and compared. The symmetrical degree of the image improved from 97.5% to 99.6% with the merchant support applied. The angle precision of the image is also promoted from 82% to 100%. After analysis of these two group's numeric, the quality of the radiographs that utilize the merchant support prevails, not only in image quality but also in accuracy of diagnoses.
