With the recent trend of globalization, many foreign marriages have been observed in Taiwan. The new ”children of Taiwan” have become a new group in the population structure, and the implementation of a multicultural curriculum is necessary to address the relevant issues of family education, school education, and social adaptation; it should also establish a multicultural environment that is respectful, tolerant, and accepting. The purpose of this study is to discuss the framework of design and the strategy for implementation of the new ”Children of Taiwan” multicultural curriculum. The framework of the design of this curriculum includes: scope, models, direction, content, and topics; the strategy for implementation includes curricular strategies including the orientation of objectives, process, and affect. This study is conducted in hope of making contributions and development towards the multicultural curriculum of the new ”Children of Taiwan” and integrating Taiwan's tribal cultures with this curriculum through comprehensive planning and implementation.
