摘要

本文關切台灣無線三台電視劇究係如何走過過去四十年光景。運用文獻調查與深度訪談法，本文概述電視劇最初製作方式及演變至今日形貌的歷程。文內回顧早期電視劇製作方式、歷年優秀編劇與作品、社會輿論對三台電視劇的反應、以及四十年來三台播出電視劇數量。最後，探討台灣電視開播以來從制度到管理之電視劇經驗。目前實是電視劇產業檢討內部結構和經營方針的時機，如何製作更多「好」的電視劇，仍是一個急需探詢、研究、與實驗的方向。

The purpose of this research is to review how the three wireless TV companies in Taiwan programmed their drama series in the past 40 years. Three major questions are raised, including what early programming strategies and methods were, how important works and experiences were involved, and how the public opinion aimed at these programs.
In-depth interview and historical research methods are employed to investigate the development of TV drama programs. Important staffs, events and TV drama series are documented. In general, the content of the TV drama programs is found to be unsatisfactory by the public opinion over the past 40 years. The research then concludes that the lack of cultural and political supports should be the main factor, and building a strong artistic environment for the TV drama programs is desperately needed.
