『廣東語會話篇(1916年再版)』同字異注考-以聲母為對象

The Hakka-Kana of the ((Kan-Ton-Go-Kai-Wa-Hen)): Mainly the Initial Consonant

The ((Kan-Ton-Go-Kai-Wa-Hen)) is the first conversation book which the Japanese studied on Hakka dailects at the Japanese colonial era. The purpose of this paper is to consider the lnitial Consonant of the ”Tong Zi Yi Zhu”(the different notes of the same character) in Hakka-Kana to show clearly how Japanese have grasped the Hakka dailects.Consequently, ((Kan-Ton-Go-Kai-Wa-Hen)) is due to the fundamental phoneme system different from the Hakka dialects and Japanese. Moreover, when a peculiar syllable of the Hakka Dialect which is not in the Japanese phonological system, the Hakka-Kana has been considerably diverted. In addition, it is thought that a tentative plan of Hakka-Kana was not yet decided, it was in the trial stage.
