摘要

談到英一郎誕生後的千枝，為使他在考試戰爭中勝出，而以最新的育兒理論武裝自己，在教育孩子這件事上擁有絕對的權力。後來，甚至以籌措教育經費為由，連妝都不化，且只喝白開水，以如此行為拒絕被視為一個女性。然而夫妻兩人為了精英育兒計畫，達成「節育」一段時間的共識，卻因為丈夫秋雄無法克制對謙知女體的欲求而遭到崩解，於是隔年，次男健次出生了。在這篇作品當中，千枝的女性化及母性是如何產生作用，又如何陷入角色機能不全的狀況下呢？本論文試圖探討這些問題，以其對此作品的解讀有所貢獻。

After Eiichiro was born, Chie armed herself with the latest child raising theory to come out on top in the entrance examination wars and approached child rearing with an absolute authority. Before long, she stopped wearing makeup and only drank only warm water so that she could afford the tuition, completely denying her existence as a woman. However, her plan to wait some time before having a second child in order to succeed in providing elite education collapsed when her husband, Akio, released a sudden lust for Chie as his wife and an even greater desire for the female body, resulting in the birth of their second son, Kenji, a year later. Throughout the story, what are the various functions of Chie's identity as a female and as a mother and how do these identities fail? This report considers these questions in an attempt to contribute to interpretation of the novel.
