摘要

近代中国の経済発展を振り返ってみると、清国の末期の「洋務運動」、「戊戍変法」、そして中華人民共和国の「生産大躍進」、「三線建設」などが挙げられるが、いずれも特大な経済効果を収めなかったか、失敗で経済状況が一層悪化になるという結果で終焉した。敗因としては政策のミスであることが知られているが、｢自力更生」による「生産大躍進」、「三線建設」の失敗を経て、西洋の技術と資金の導入で成功した「改革開放」政策から、外国投資の必要性と存在感が感じられる。
