宗密會通儒釋的孝親觀

The Filial Concept of Tsung-mi's Harmonization of Confucianism and Buddhism

摘要


宗密固有儒道二教學思,加以日後習佛的佛門思想,使宗密流傳至今的眾多著作,多所表現其儒釋道三教的會通思想。宗密《佛說盂蘭盆經疏》便在其家學淵源背景,與佛學素養的認識中,著疏寫作佛門會通儒釋二教的孝親觀。該疏旨在疏解竺法護譯出的《盂蘭盆經》,疏中廣泛宣說儒釋二教孝親觀的同異處,並引及眾多儒家典籍加以釋說孝道意涵,再藉儒釋二教行孝案例的舉陳,分論二教相關孝道題旨。終以悲敬孝心以示勝田,各為比配貧病悲田、三寶敬田與父母恩田,發揮出宗密論述知恩酬報的孝親觀,與七月十五僧自恣日設盂蘭盆供的佛門孝親踐行,合為救拔苦難,利益眾生,度脫多世父母的大孝之行。

Because of the contact processes concerning the doctrines in Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism, Tsung-mi demonstrates the Syncreticism of the Three Religions thoughts in his numerous writings. In 〞Fo Shuo Yu Lan Pen Jing Shu〞, Tsung-mi writes about the filial piety concepts concerning the Syncreticism of Buddhist concepts to Confucian and Taoist doctrines. 〞Fo Shuo Yu Lan Pen Jing Shu〞 is mainly used to explain the Ulambana Sutra translated by Zhu Fahu. There are many different views about filial piety in Confucian and Buddhist concepts, numerous references to explain the Confucian classics meaning of filial piety, and many filial examples of Confucian and Buddhist teachings to discuss their filial theme in 〞Fo Shuo Yu Lan Pen Jing Shu〞. In the end, Tsung-mi writes 〞Fo Shuo Yu Lan Pen Jing Shu〞 to explain his filial gratitude by comparing the hearts of mercy, respectful and filial piety with the fields of sickness, Sambo and parents. In addition, Tsung-mi develops the discourse of great filial behavior by combining all these filial gratitude thoughts with filial behavior on Sangha Pravarana Day, July 15; the ullambana ceremony is held to save sentient beings and many lifetimes parents.
