Over half of the people with visual impairment were older adults, they were in a disadvantaged position and encountered multiple stressors. The research data was collected via in-depth interviews in order to understand the stress and coping of older adults with visual impairment. Six older adults with visual impairment were interviewed. Research finding were divided into two parts. First, the stress of older adults with visual impairment included four dimensions. Second, they implemented three different types of coping, which were negativity, avoidance, and integrated. The type of integrated coping demonstrated how older adults with visual impairment applied their inner sources and their wisdom.
