摘要

本文旨在探討法國哲學家Merleau-Ponty的自然觀點，闡釋其中所蘊含的生態意義，作為當代新興綠色思想中重要的一支—生態現象學—的代表。本文從三個面向討論Merleau-Ponty的自然觀：身體主體、肉身、藝術，並由此三個面向進一步來詮釋Merleau-Ponty自然觀所蘊含的生態學意義，其生態意涵包含下述三點：Merleau-Ponty自然觀打破人與自然的主客二元對立的傳統自然觀點、有助於建構生態多樣性價值觀、重新領悟自然為人類之歸屬。

This article aims to discuss about Merleau-Ponty's notion of nature and to unveil the ecological implications. The Merleau-Pontian ecological thought may be taken as one of the representatives of eco-phenomenology-one of the most inspiring schools amongst the newly emerging green intellectual movement. The discussion of Merleau-Ponty's notion of nature is undertaken in the light of three notions: bodysubject, flesh, and art. Merleau-Ponty's notion of nature is useful for developing ecology-friendly ideas including 1) overcoming the traditional dualism of the human/nature relationship, 2) developing appreciation of biodiversity, and 3) cultivating a human belongingness to nature.
