摘要


血液培養一直是細菌室所有受檢檢體中數量最多且最具臨床意義的一項檢查。我們可由血液培養偵測血液中有無嚴重或危害生命的病原菌,及反應出感染的程度和蔓延的情況。同時可將分離出之菌種加以鑑定並作藥物感受性試驗;其結果可提供醫師作為診斷及用藥參考。鑑於血液培養的重要,其偵測方法亦隨科技的進步由手工進入全自動化時代。提供醫師及病人更快速、準確的檢驗結果,幫助醫檢師更省時、省力的完成任務。本院在這些年來也經歷了這段變遷,因此以本文對血液培養系統的發展做一回顧,並探討血液培養檢體的採集與結果判讀所應注意的事項。

When referring to the clinical significance and the amount of testing subjects, blood cultures have always been considered one of the most important diagnostic items that the bacteriology laboratory processes. We use blood cultures to detect the presence of any serious or vital bacteria and to reflect the degree of infection or expansion. At the same time, we identify the isolated bacteria and perform the antibiotic susceptibility tests; the results can aid physicians' inference in diagnosis and prescription. For many years, blood culture systems have progressed along side medical technology; from the era of the manual process to the automatic process. In addition to providing a more accurate and rapid testing results; the automatic process also simplifies the task and helps medical technologists to perform their duties in a more efficient and timely manner. Our hospital has accumulated an abundance of knowledge and experiences in the development of blood culture systems, and we would like to review the development and emphasize the importance of specimen collection and report interpretation.
