運用網路資訊登錄系統提高護理品管監測資料處理的效率

Using an Information System to Improve the Efficiency of Nursing Management

摘要

目的：應用建置「網路資訊登錄系統」，以降低護理品管監測資料彙整時間與人力成本之成效。方法：採特性要因分析、品管監測資料登錄操作測試收集資料，確立問題原因為電腦處理流程繁瑣、無專人執行、護理師忙碌與輪休、易被臨床工作中斷、監測頻率不同、電腦數量不足及電腦操作不熟悉，導致監測資料彙整耗時，也間接增加人力成本。經由建置「網路資訊登錄系統」、彙整資料改由書記專人執行、增設事前提示機制、添購病房電腦、安排人員在職教育、與製作品管登錄操作手冊等措施。結果：完成一案品管資料彙整時間節省8.96分(77.7%)，人力成本下降85.34%，護理人員滿意度由2.5分提升至4.29分。結論：應用網路資訊功能來改變作業模式，確實可提高品管資料處理效率。

Background and Purpose: The aim of this study was to establish an internet ”Information System” (IS) to reduce the time and labor cost in doing nursing quality control management. Methods: We used category factor analysis and quality control management monitoring information system performance testing to collect data. Results indicated that the reasons for the elevation in time for data monitoring management and labor cost were as follows: multitude of computer processing procedures, inefficient use of applicable man power, changes of registered nurses' work time shifts, information processing procedures were interrupted easily by immediate clinical services, differences of monitoring frequencies, shortfalls of the computers, and the lack of with using the computers. The following procedures were performed to improve the situation: establishing IS, duty reassignment to clerks for information management, adding pre-procedure reminding mechanisms, purchasing computers for wards, providing on job training programs, and editing quality control IS operation manual. Results: The amount of time needed for quality control information management and labor costs were significantly decreased with the reduce rate of 77.7% (saving 8.96 minutes per case) and 85.34% in labor costs. Satisfaction scores of the IS establishment increased from 2.5 to 4.29 with a total score of 5. Conclusion: Appling internet IS to reform the processing model could, indeed, increase the efficiency in quality control information processing.
