Most schwannomas are benign tumors. They often arise from the nerve of head and neck, but rarely seen in the oral cavity. Tongue is the most frequent Schwannoma involved site in oral cavity. This is a case of 76-year-old female had a solitary tumor of tongue base noted for about one week. Excisional biopsy had shown the tumor to be Schwannoma. There was no recurrence after six months of follow-up.
