Dietitian should fulfill the basic needs of end-of-life patients, such as avoid them from being hungry and enhance their physical strength. The end-of-life patients need more solicitude. We give end-of-life patients appropriate nutrition suggestions through discussion with the patients, their families and medical team to alleviate their discomfort. We provide high quality victuals to end-of-life patients and edit nutrition leaflets to guide their families and caregivers to correct nutrition knowledge. During meetings in the hospice palliative care team, the dietitian reports the follow-up status, details of diet counseling and quality of life of the end-of-life patients. The goals are to provide appropriate dietary advices and the best nutrition counseling to the end-of-life patients.
