Anterior crossbite which may originated from dental or skeletal factors is a very common problem during the early mixed dentition. If not treated in the early stage, future treatment will become complex and difficult. Treatment of the anterior crossbite include tongue blade, inclined bite plane, fixed or removable orthrodontic appliance, etc. Early use of inclined bite plane is very effective, time-saving, economical and safe for treating treatment anterior crossbite. The case presented here is a 8-year-old girl whom dental crossbite was noticed on upper left and upper right central incisors. After two weeks of inclined bite plane treatment, correction was achieved and good stability maintained; no recurrence was found during the 1-year follow-up period. Mixed dentition period is the oralfacial development stage. Appropriate early intervening option during this golden stage may not only protect patients' TMJ, but also benefits their oralfacial development.
