孔子思想分期之可能及其意義

本文分成三個部分針對孔子思想分期進行討論。首先,就生命史的角度將孔子的一生區分為三個重要的階段,藉由孔子的生命經歷裡的「關鍵事件」,探討型塑其思想的背景因素,其中,我將以「正名」為觀察視角,切入孔子的一生中;其次,則由孔子自述生命歷程以及與弟子間的交遊狀態,論述其分期思想的可能內涵為何?進而提供一個動態說明的進路。最後,則從上述的可能分期,點出儒門爭議產生的思想史意義。

This article analyses the development of Confucius' thought as a three stages process. In the first section, I divide Confucius' life story into three parts, in which several key events form the background to the development of his thought. In particular, I will focus on the role of ”zhingming”(正名) in Confucius' life. In the second part, I will draw on Confucius' personal statements and those of his circle of Confucian disciples to show how the development of Confucius' thought can be divided into three stages. These stages can be interpreted dynamicity as a developmental succession. On the basis of these analyses of stages, I will point out the significance of the development of Confucius' thought.
