DISTRIBUTION NETWORK RECONFIGURATION BASED ON TIME INTERVALS PARTITION AND HARMONY ANNEALING ALGORITHM

In order to deal with the balance among the reconfiguration moment, switching operation cost and loss reduction effect during the dynamic distribution network reconfiguration, a reconfiguration method based on reconfiguration time interval (RTI) partition and harmony annealing algorithm (HAA) is proposed in this paper. Firstly, two system performance indices, power loss (PL) and node voltage deviation (NVD), are proposed to reduce the switching operation times and extend the life of switch. Then the minimum whole network cost is taken as the objective function to establish the mathematical model, considering the minimum PL and switching operation times. Then through combining the harmony search algorithm's (HSA) strong search ability and the simulated annealing algorithm's (SAA) fast convergence rate, the HAA is proposed for distribution network reconfiguration. Finally, the 33-bus IEEE distribution network is taken as the test system to verify the new method's efficiency and accuracy.
