COMPACT TRIPLE-BAND BANDPASS FILTER USING MULTILAYER STRUCTURE

摘要


In this paper, the design of a compact triple-band bandpass filter using multilayer structure across three operating bands (2.4 GHz, 3.5 GHz, 5.2 GHz) is proposed. The structure is mainly composed of two pairs of stepped-impedance resonators (SIR), where in the stepped-impedance resonators can be independently designed. By using stepped impedance resonators with different impedance ratios (K) and length ratios (α) to effectively determine the first and second resonance modes, a stopband greater than -20 dB is designed across 5.5 GHz to 11.5 GHz. The measured results are in good agreement with the full-wave electromagnetic (EM) simulation results.
