技專校院應用外語科系建立教育夥伴關係之探討

摘要


因應全球經質國際化和台灣加入世界貿易組織,國內對其有實務經驗的外語人才需求更為殷切,於是各技專校院紛紛競相成立應用外語科系,以符工商業界之需,提昇國家的競爭力。然而,儘管應用外語料系標榜著「應用」二字,以期與一般大學的外文系有所區隔,而檢視其課程之規劃和設計,卻難脫一般大學外文系課程課程之窠臼;倘若各校應用外語科系又未能真正落實技職教育以實務經驗教學的教育目標,「應用」二字恐只徒具虛表。故本文將探討應用外語料系的特色,以進一步分析研究應用外語應如何加強建立教育夥伴關係,期望藉由此一建教合作教育的模式,真正達到「建教合一」培養工商業界真正所需外語商貿實務專業人才。

To meet the demand of professionals with the proficiency of foreign languages for Taiwan's joining in WTO and the trend of international trade, the departments of Applied Foreign Languages (DAFL) have been increasingly established in recent years for the purpose. However, it is relatively important for the DAFL to achieve its educational goal of associating practical training with theory; then it can show its characteristics and make difference from those foreign languages departments of general education. Thus, the research was to explore how to set up the characteristics of DAFL by building educational partnerships with the industry and other educational organizations in order to foster professionals really in need.
