智慧型英語專長能力分組教學之實施研究

摘要


基於技職體系學生英文能力遠落後於一般體系學生,亟需提升改進,以及分組教學研究探討之啓示,本研究旨在探討應用科學方法之智慧型英語專長能力分組教學,以期提升五專入學新生在英文教學之學習效果。為達研究目的,本研究採用學習能力前後測設計之準實驗研究法,對本校五專新生進行正式實驗,以供探討智慧型英語專長能力分組教學對專科英文低成就學生之學習成就的影響;並以學習態度量表對受試學生進行問卷調查,期能探究不同分組方式對學生學習態度影響之差異。結果發現經專長能力分組教學的學生,無論在學習成就上或學習滿意度均高於一般未經分組教學之學生。此一結果將有助於提供各校作為英語教學有利的措施之參考。

In order to improve the effectiveness and motivation of junior college freshmen with low-achievement in English, the main objective of the study was to determine the effects of applying intelligent characteristics clustering to English teaching program in junior college English class. The potential effects of the team group clustered by intelligent method compared to traditional classification group on students' academic achievement, attitude, and their feelings of liking and of being liked in English classroom were to be investigated. To achieve the purpose of the study, the students were pretested and posttested to determine growth in English acquisition. Additionally, questionnaires concerning educational and social factors which include self-esteem, academic learning and social relationship are completed by students to show the differences.
