台灣高齡者在設施中的生活實態

摘要

本論文是藉由台湾高齢者的主觀理念，去探討了解台湾高齢者在安養和養護機構（在文中統稱之為高齢者設施）中的日常生活之實際狀態。因此，本論文將針對台湾高齢者在高齢者設施中之生理的．心理的和社会的適應狀態，高齢者對高齢者設施的物理環境及服務內容等層面的評價，加以分析研究以了解台湾高齢者在安養和養護機構中，生活的實際狀態。根據本論文的研究結果而言，一方面可見台湾高齢者在高齢者設施中之生理的．心理的和社会的適應狀態大致良好；另一方面可見台湾高齢者對高齢者設施所提供的服務、活動的內容，大多認為欠缺可選擇性和創意性；此外，高齢者對其設施中，所辦的活動之參與率，非常的低。經本論文的研究，可見今後高齢者設施當局，在提供各種服務時，需對高齢者的喜好有所了解，同時應考慮到為高齢者創造支援環境的必要性。

The thesis is to discuss and to understand the reality of elders' daily life in a healthcare center or a nursing institute (a nursing home is called for consistency throughout the article) through their subjective points in Taiwan. Therefore, the thesis focuses on Taiwanese elders with physical, mental and social adaptations in their nursing homes, and also explores how they evaluate their nursing homes with physical environment and services conditions. Furthermore, this analysis does researches in order to understand the reality of elders' life in a healthcare center or a nursing institute.According to the research of the thesis result, we may realize that apparently Taiwanese elders with physical, mental and social adaptations in their nursing homes are good; on the other hand, we may figure out that most of them refer to the services and activities that the nursing homes offered are lack of selection and creation. Besides, the elders are seldom to take part in the activities held by their nursing homes. Through this thesis research, we may recognize whenever nursing homes themselves offer any services to the elders, they are supposed to know what the elders' favors. In the meanwhile, they should also consider the necessity to design a supportive environment for these elders.
