應用策略群組分析探討世界主要港口之競爭:資源基礎觀點

摘要


台灣加入WTO之後,面臨到市場在全球擴大開放,商港之營運競爭日益加劇,競爭遂成為商港營運的重要議題,然而過去港口之學術研究皆著重「市場」面向的分析,忽略了競爭的根源與基礎,基此,本研究以資源基礎的理論為出發點,選取全世界排名前30大港口進行資源面向之策略群組分析。結果顯示全世界排名前30大港口可區分為四個策略群組,分別為「貨櫃場規模優勢群」、「設備技術能力先進群」、「保守防禦群」與「資源劣勢群」等四個群組,各群組之核心資源不同,此一分群對高雄港之營運具有參考價值。

After Taiwan acceding to WTO and facing the market has enlarged and opened from the whole world. The operation competition of the commercial port is increasing and enhancing. Competition has become the important issues to the operation of commercial port. However, the past academic researches of port were focused on the analysis of “the market”. It was neglected to the section of competition of the origin and foundation. Therefore, this study used resource-based theory as the key point. Selecting 30 the first largest ports of the whole world to rank and analysis the strategic groups to be the region of resource face. The result of study presented that there are four strategic groups have been classified from the 30 the first largest ports respectively into ”container field scale advantage group”, ”ability of equipment and technology advanced group”, ”defence guarding group” and ”resource inferior position group”, etc. Those four strategic groups have their own core of resource. It is useful and worth for the operation of kaohsiung Port to refer to the differentiation of those four strategic groups.
