結合學生想法及互動式遺傳演算法之個人化作業分派系統

An individualized homework assignment system based on student's ideas and interactive genetic algorithm

摘要


本研究發展出一套個人化作業分派系統,依據學生的能力及興趣分派適合的作業題目。這個系統包括兩階段:第一階段評量學生在作業範圍內各單元的能力等級。第二階段利用互動式遺傳演算法(interactive genetic algorithm,IGA)演化出符合學生興趣的作業題目。第二階段首先透過作業模型隨機產生數題類似作業做為IGA的初始族群,然後將這些作業題目顯示於網頁由學生評分(分數介於1-9分)。學生也可以修改作業題目中可變動關鍵字,加上自己的想法。IGA透過複製、交配及突變運算得到新的族群並取代舊族群,經過幾回合的演化後逐漸找到學生有興趣的作業題目。彙整各單元作業題目就可以得到一份完整個人化作業。經由實際讓學生使用這套系統的回饋結果顯示,大部分學生覺得系統有趣或者有創意,也有學生認為系統很普通。我們已經成功地讓學生使用系統分派作業並將資料儲存於MySQL資料庫。

This study developed an individualized homework assignment system that assigns appropriate homework based on students' abilities and interests. The system consists of two phases: the first phase assesses the student's ability level for each unit within the scope of the homework. In the second phase, apply the interactive genetic algorithm (IGA) to evolve a homework problem that is in line with students' interests. In second phase, firstly, use the homework model to randomly generate several similar homework problems to be the initial population of IGA. After that, the homework problems are showed on the web page and scored by students (from 1 to 9). Students can modify the variable keywords in the problem to add their ideas. IGA will replace the old population by the new population through reproduction, crossover and mutation operations. After several evolutions, the IGA gradually finds the homework problem that students are interested in. A complete individualized homework can be obtained by summarizing the homework of each unit. Through the actual feedback results of the students using the system, most students find the system interesting or creative, and some students think the system is very common. We have successfully guided students to use the system to dispatch individualized homework, and record these data into MySQL database.
