敗血症和敗血性休克在傳統中醫文獻的探討

「敗血症」等於中醫何種病症？目前尚無確定名稱。然而中醫文獻對於敗血症仍有許多散在的論述。從病因、病機、臨床表現和辨証施治方面來分析，敗血症和溫病的特點較相符合。若更詳細從臨床綜合症狀來探討，敗血症應屬於溫病學中的“溫毒”範疇。另外中醫典籍中的〝疔瘡走黃〞、〝疽毒內陷〞、〝黃疸〞之証大多屬於敗血症的範圍。至於敗血性休克，在中醫急症中的「厥症」和「虛脫」有部分內容與此相符。本文乃針對上述範疇進行和敗血症相關的辨証要點、發病機制以及治療等各方面作綜合性的深入探討。

Severe sepsis and septic shock are increasingly common and carry high mortality up to 60% in spite of aggressively intensive care and strong antibiotics intervention. To find an effective treatment of sepsis and septic shock is an important clinical problem. Although there are no similar terms, sepsis and septic shock are compatible to the following conditions such as warm toxin, spread of nail-like boil toxin, and inward development of toxin from cellulites, jaundice, Jue Syndrome and collapse of Qi in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). This review highlights our understanding of relevant pathogenesis, evaluation, diagnosis and a therapeutic strategy related to the diseases in accord with sepsis in TCM, and provides second opinion for the development of effective intervention strategies for treatment of septic shock.
