創意式英語教學

Creative English Teaching

摘要


台灣目前的英語教學策略大都以教師爲中心、考試爲導向;互動和溝通的要素並未被足夠的強調。本文創意地利用傳統中國醫學、數字、圖形、錢財及棒球,把教室架構成一個更具互動及溝通性的教學環境。希望這種創意式的教學,能提升學生的好奇心和學習興趣,更希望它能帶領學生邁向終生學習英文的習慣。

Currently, the English teaching strategies in Taiwan are predominantly teacher-centered and examination-oriented. The elements of interaction and communication are not sufficiently emphasized. This writing creatively utilizes T.C.M. (Traditional Chinese Medicine), numbers, shapes, money and baseball within the classroom to construct a teaching and learning environment that is more interactive and communicative. Hopefully, this creative teaching will increase the students' curiosity and interest in learning. Eventually, it will help lead students towards a lifelong habit of studying English.
