特殊兒童主題繪本之內容分析與教學應用

Analysis and Application of Disability-themed Picture Storybooks

摘要


我國過去在幼稚教育階段對於特殊幼兒的接納並未投注足夠的重視,如何讓幼兒接納特殊同儕,值得教育工作者與教育研究者更積極的開拓與努力。歐美國家則可經常見到透過特殊兒童主題之繪本書,經由有系統的活動引導,潛移默化的幫助幼兒在人際道德方面從「利己」成長到「利他」的階段。這些繪本的開發與系統化的運用,頗值得我國參考與借鏡,因此本文將探討特殊兒童主題的繪本書及其應用,探討的內容包括特殊兒童主題繪本之種類與型態、特殊兒童主題之繪本作家、特殊兒童主題繪本之出版單位、優良繪本之內容分析、特殊兒童主題繪本的教學活動,最後提出數本國內可引進之特殊兒童主題系列繪本,可供出版商成套出版做為中小學生命教育之輔助教材。

At preschool stage of our country s education system, kindergarten children with special needs haven't got enough attention and care. That how to let general school children accept and respect the education rights of the students with disabilities is worthy for educators and education researchers to explore. In America, some educators and education researchers systematically using picture storybook to guide kindergarten children promoting their social-moral development, helping children to grow from egoism stage to altruism stage. The experience of using and producing picture storybooks is worthy for us to learn. So, this paper will discuss the application of disability-themed picture storybook. Firstly the trends and issues of inclusive education are reviewed; secondly the types and taxonomy of disability-themed picture storybooks are analyzed; thirdly some prominent disability-themed picture storybook publishers and some renowned authors and illustrators of disability-themed picture storybook are introduced; fourthly some picture storybook-based instruction methods are summarized; finally some commendable disability-themed picture storybooks which are worthwhile of translated into our language and being used as supplementary materials of life education are listed.
